I was absolutely blown away to be awarded “Instrumentalist Of The Year” at the 2022 IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Momentum Awards. The recognition from my musical peers and community means so much to me and it only reaffirms my decision to move to the USA to pursue this career and to work harder and to keep pushing myself. Read MoreRecently my tune “Dorrigo”, written for the beautiful Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival in northern NSW, Australia, has become a bit of a viral sensation on instagram and facebook with a bunch of great musicians learning the tune and posting a version of themselves playing it under the hashtag #dorrigochallenge. This has been totally unbelievable! I’m including a downloadable PDF of the bare-bones melody below if anyone wants to learn it.
